Bhuboni Sahu Vs. The King, AIR 1949 PC 257 (Evidentiary Value of Confession of Co-accused)

Bhuboni Sahu Vs. The King, AIR 1949 PC 257 (Evidentiary Value of Confession of Co-accused)

The confession of co-accused may only be taken into consideration alongwith other evidence in the case, and it cannot alone form the basis of a conviction. It can be used only, if necessary, to corroborate other evidence of the record. It can only be used to help to satisfy a court that the other evidence is true.
